Tour Itinerary

We will depart from Moshi/Arusha/airport (depending on your preference) in the morning and travel to the Tarangire National Park where you can marvel at the colossal termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. The picturesque scenery and diverse

bird-life assist in creating the tranquil ambiance of the Tarangire National Park. The great elephant population is an extremely remarkable sight. African elephants are the largest land mammal and adult males can weigh as much as seven tonnes. Tarangire’s varied wildlife includes lions, giraes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, bualoes, and baboons. When your game drive comes to an end, we will take you to the Campsite/lodge. Comprehensive camping facilities are on oer.

An appetising breakfast will be served at the camp followed by a drive to the Serengeti National Park. We will take the scenic route to the Serengeti which allows us to travel near the Ngorongoro Crater. There is a possibility of spotting game. The endless golden savannah with splotches of colour created by the vegetation and wildlife make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural wonders of Africa. We will stop so that you can enjoy your picnic lunch on a kopje (a small hill in a generally flat area). We will proceed further into the Serengeti for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night at the Serengeti Camp/lodge, comprehensive camping facilities are available.

Spend your full day in Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size. Later drive to your lodge/campsite for sunset

We will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning as it is a wonderful time to spot game. We will go on a game drive with a picnic lunch inside the crater. Majority of the animals tend to reside within the crater due to its elevated structure. There is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the swift leopard, the tough rhino and the charging bualo. The Crater was formed millions of years ago when a large volcano erupted. You can expect to encounter zebra, hippo, wildebeest and cackling hyenas. There are graceful flamingos along the Soda Lake and vultures are constantly circling the sky in search of discarded carcases. Storks and geese are popular water birds in the crater. Our game drive will conclude shortly after lunch. Our driver will transport you to Moshi but transportation to the airport can be arranged on request.
